Title: Using page generator.

My forum is located at

www.domain.org/forum.

Can I use the page generator to create an index page for www.domain.org  ?


(This is different to creating a front page for the forum, which I assume I CAN do with the page generator).




2nd question - can page generator be used to include a favicon -so that anyone visiting

www.domain,.org or www.domain.org/forum has the favicon on the browser tab?

No it can only create pages on your forum. It not create pages outside of the forum software.
You could redirect people from the root of your domain to a portal page. But if you are going to do that. You might as well make forum the main thing on your domain instead of being in a folder.

Yes but it's too late now ! Already set up in www.domain.org/forum

You can do a redirect script to move visitors from the main domain to /forum
