Tutorial: Custom Button on Custom Themes
« on: April 09, 2009, 10:18:02 pm »
Go to you custom themes folder which will be under Themes.
Once you are in the custom templates folder edit index.template.php
Once there hit cntrl+f at the same time.
After you do that type this "// Show the [help] button." Without the quotes.
Add this code before that line
Code: [Select]
// Show the [forum] button.
echo '<li><a' , $current_action=='forum' ? ' class="current"' : '' , ' href="', $scripturl, '?action=forum"><span>Forum</span></a></li>';
This makes the forum link appear in any template.

~You can also use this for any custom mod to, just modify the code slightly~

Nice tut. It might be worth while adding some pictures to it. It would make it easier to follow if you weren't so computer savvy.
Please PM for further assistance regarding the Ezportal.
