Translation in other languages
« on: April 14, 2012, 05:43:12 pm »
Hello all, I've just installed SMF 2.0.2 and ezportal. I think they're quite useful for the portal I have in mind but... I need a multilanguage site. For SMF there's no problem because there are a lot of language files that I can download and all the forum is in as many languages as I wish. But what about the text inside an ezblock? I've searched for a problem lke this in the forum but didn't found, so I'm opening a new topic.

For example, I'd like to put a Menu ezBlock. I want to define the Menu title of each menu item so that they can be translated. For example a title could be 'world' in english, 'mondo' in italian and 'monde' in french. Is it possible using standar ezblocks or do I have to define my own ezblock that recall a translation file written by my own? Or maybe I have to directly write a php ezblock?

I hope to have been clear enough :)

Thanks

Currently no built in features to modify the text for multilanguages for blocks you would have to develop a custom ezBlock
