After i upgraded to the latest version of ezportal (EzPortal 0.2.6) the shoutbox increased in size looks like, now i get scrollbars under it.

Any one knows where/what to edit at the shoutbox to get rid of the scrollbars.

Had the same problem in firefox, the fix is probably safe to use but you should check and make sure with the admin, e.g. it might prevent future updates or uninstalls from working.

SMF v1.x.x
Find .. Sources/Subs-EzPortalMain.php
Search for
<textarea name="shout" rows="2" cols="30" style="width: 100%"></textarea>
Replace with
<textarea name="shout" rows="2" cols="30" style="width: 99%"></textarea>

SMF v2.x.x
Find .. Sources/Subs-EzPortalMain2.php
Search for
<textarea name="shout" rows="2" cols="30" style="width: 100%"></textarea>
Replace with
<textarea name="shout" rows="2" cols="30" style="width: 99%"></textarea>

Its only changing the table width by 1% so it shouldn't cause any problems (worked for me)
but just remember you might need to change it back before you try to update ezportal
