Title: remove "forum" from current position on ezportal homepage
Post by: n1k on March 05, 2011, 01:39:27 pm
before installing ezportal, the current position menu worked like this:

if i was looking at the index, it showed just name the of my site.

if i was browsing a forum category, it showed "site name > category name"

if i was browsing a specific forum, it showed "site name > category name > forum name"

if i was reading a thread, it showed "site name > category name > forum name > thread name"

after installing ezportal, the current position menu always shows "site name > forum" even on the ezportal homepage! i want it to show only "site name" on the ezportal homepage and "site name > forum index" on the forum index (index.php?action=forum)

how do i do this?

thanks.

anyone?

i'm now leaning toward just removing the linktree from the front page completely, but i can't even figure out how to do that!

i also want to rename "forum" in the linktree to plural "forums" so instead of:

site name > forum

it would be:

site name > forums

it seems like it should be so simple to do this but i've been struggling trying to figure it out for a long time. help, please! i'm begging ya!

Admin>Languages  and click on your lang
On "Select entries to edit" field, select  => EzPortal
On "ezp_forum_tab" field, rename the string "Forum" to "Forums" or anything
