Sorry if this has been asked before.  I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Is there a News and Newsletters ezblock?  I'd like something for like forum announcements etc on the front page of the forum.

Is that worth a feature request?  I know that I can just type news in to a block on the front page so I don't know that it's worth while?

I'm converting from phpbb so forgive my ignorance. 

I see view the news the same way as I would announcements in phpbb.  Probably ignorant in thinking? 

I'd like something that puts up site announcements similar to what's happening in phpbb but I don't know if that's even possible.  I create an announcement in a forum and it shows in the portal front page in phpbb.
