Title: Forum name twice in breadcrumbs
Post by: kenmcneill on August 10, 2019, 11:20:57 am
Working on a new forum using 2.1 RC2

My forum name is displaying twice in my breadcrumb menu. I could only find one place that has an entry for forum name, and deleting it deletes both instances. Temporarily uninstalling ezPortal seems to correct the glitch.  Any ideas if I've done something wrong, or if there's something else I should try?

Thanks!

I forgot to mention that it also seems to be adding a 'Forum' menu item to the breadcrumbs

Thanks for the update!

In the middle of this, I changed servers and was unable to see or manage packages from within SMF. I corrected the directory addresses in the settings file, and now I can at least see the packages. An attempt to upgrade the ezPortal package gave me an error message about file permissions,

'You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!'

If this would be better on the SMF forum, please say. Thanks!

Check that all files/folders are writable I think 755 permissions.
There is an option in SMF to change permissions in the file manager via ftp.

Tried changing the permissions inside SMF, but no joy, so I changed them via the server. Still unable to make any changes to packages.

If you are on linux if you have your own server/vps you might want to try turning off selinux or adding write permissions using selinux.
