I know this is a common issue, and I have searched the forum endlessly, but no matter what I try, I cannot get it to work. I am using the Darkbreak skin, and ezPortals, and my forum button disappeared. I tried using the code:

  // Show the [Forum] button
  echo  '
              <td class="mainnav"><a href="', $scripturl,  '?action=forum">' , $txt['ezp_forum_tab']  , '</a></td>';

...but it does not work. Attached to this post is a copy of my template. If someone could please edit the template for me, then re-attach it, that would be amazing. Also, if you could explain what it was that I am doing wrong, that would help as well. Thanks in advance!

You can always get to your forum, by clicking on the site map linking that normally the title of your community>
As far as buttons go not all themes and or Portals are designed create buttons so all this will need to be done by changing the code as you probably already know, but this question should be asked at the creator of the theme it's self.... I real think though that in this case, the issue lies in the Index.css or possibly a menu.css in you theme files.

I myself prefer themes that us drop down menus.
