Fatal Error, undefined function......
« on: March 03, 2012, 06:47:25 pm »
Fatal error: Call to undefined function db_query() in /home/sixstars/public_html/Themes/default/EzPortal2.template.php(1658) : eval()'d code on line 1

I am getting this error when loading my forum. Actually anywhere I try to go except the Hpme Page shows this error.

Caused when trying to get a recent calendar events block using code found here. Created the block, activated it and this happened. I have tried to find the codes foir the individual blocks but not having any luck. Also tried updating the EzPortal2.template.php off a fresh download.

What are my options? I can not access the admin to remove blocks or even uninstall ezportal and reinstall it again.

Thanks

Disable the layout in phpmyadmin in the ezp_layout table for your forum. Find the entry that contains the block and disable/ or remove it.

Looks like the code you used was from SMF 1.1.x instead of SMF 2.0.x

Yes you are correct about the code. I wasnt expecting that though..... :). Thanks for the quick response, will let you know if I have issues and/or success.

I have searched for these two files without success. Can you give me a bit more info on locating them?

Is there any way to do a manual upgrade or uninstall? Would that even work?

It's not found in any of the files. It is inside your database. If you have a control panel for your website look inside there for phpmyadmin.

WOW, that was a lot easier than I was thinking it was going to be. Thanks so much for the help. Now, back to a search for a Calendar block that will work.
