Title: EZportal not working
Post by: petro on November 30, 2008, 06:48:06 pm
Newbie for SMF. Installing fresh 1.1.7 on wamp server. Used the upload package to take zipped file from desktop and installed. Ran through the installer looked like it installed correctly and all the tables for EZpr were in MYSQL. Installed to localhost/forums/ on wamp server. As soon as it gets done installing it looks like a exportal page is up to creat blocks and whatever. However I can see all kinds of code throughout the page and at the bottom is the main SMF header. Can not access anyother pages by clicking the tabs or should I say the code remains on the page. Probably should get a little more details. But I'll start with this incase its something stupid on my part. I also was able to install simple portal without any problems so I think I understand the process. I did not install it with the fresh install and  ezportal incase there was a conflict. Used download ezPortal0.2.zip from latest release post on this site.

Thanks

Petro

It seems it does not work offline with wamp? I tried it on the actual website and installed mods from website and it works. Any ideas?

Offline or online should not matter. What kind of text do you see post the exactly result or screenshot

Error at bottom of page is "Unable to load the 'ezblock_above' template." See picture attached. What is  above this page is much of the same about 3 pages worth.
