I tried the Board News ezBlock. It started already by giving an error notice because I couldn't leave the amount of characters per entry to 0. Which is strange because there it says 0=unlimited.
So I changed it to 100 and it worked. But that was a littlebit to less.
So I changed 100 to 150 and the problems began to happen. I got a database error. I had an ad mod installed, so I uninstalled that, and things worked once, but then the database error occured again.
I'm using SMF 2.0.7 with the latest ezPortal (just installed via package manager).
This is the database error:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')
ORDER BY ID_FIRST_MSG DESC
LIMIT 0, 5' at line 3
I had to disable admin view permission, otherwise I wasn't able to make changes anymore, so I was lucky that I succeeded in that by using the back button on the browser.
I have deleted the block and made it again, same problem.
I added some screenshots. On the first, you can see what is happening when a normal user is looking at the portal with the news block activated.
The second and third screenshot provide my settings of the block, which is in the center module.
The left side is only the user block at the moment, and at the right side a html block with adsense code in it.
How can this be fixed?
