If you are tired of false registration or registration flooding like at 2 of my sites.. deleting all toughs email notification and spammer signups from the stop spammer, then, this could be a great solution, and I am Now testing.

download and install this mod:

First install the contact page mod, then go to you permissions setting in the admin Cpanel and set the guest permission to view the contact page. save and go to your admin controls to turn off the registration.

Then Give instruction to you visitors, to click the contact page button from the menu them, give the information and reason for signing up to your site.

Make sure your notification email is correct.
then the application request will be verified and better control, if goes well!@
