HOWTO: Create a custom Nav bar buttons in SMF
« on: February 17, 2009, 05:53:11 am »
This is a short guide written by me and found by me.

How to Create custom linking buttons in SMF for the Nav Bar

1)Go to admin area
2)Go to themes and layout
3)Go to Modify Themes
4)Chose your current theme from the list
5)Go into Laungues
6)Open the English File
7)Scroll down to the bottom and copy the last link
8)Paste it Below and fill it in
9)Now go to Index.template.php and find (CTRL+F) $text [119]
10)Copy all of the code from the "help" button and paste between other button code lists
11)Fill in the Href bit with your link (remember the HTTP:// or it wont work) and fill in your URL
12)Save it and enjoy your custom link
