Undedined Index Errors.
« on: June 24, 2010, 06:20:37 am »
Howdy!

I'm in the process of upgrading my forum from 1.1.11 to 2RC3.  I've duplicated the old forum, upgraded and so forth, and installed EZPortal all okay.

However, I'm getting thousands of errors in the error log, all along the lines of:

Quote

8: Undefined index: ezportal_page_manager

File: /..../Sources/Admin.php

EZP isn't the only thing throwing these up, but it's doing more than the others by a long shot.  It may well be from the old forum I guess, and it's not actually hurting anything, but it's annoying me.

Could you tell me what I need to do to get rid of them please?

Many thanks, and keep up the good work!  EZP is the portal of choice!

Looks like you might be missing language entries in your modificatons.english.php I would recheck that they are in place

Ah, yes, that would make sense.  I've fiddled with that file, but it was after I insalled EZP, so I may have lost things.  If I install the latest version, would it replace them?

I'll try anyway!

Ahhhh!

Okay, there's good news and bad news here.

I upgraded to the latest version, but it still showed errors.  I then realized that I couldn't find the EZP admin section on my board.

Not panicking at all, I uninstalled EZP and reinstalled it again.

The good news is that my error log error problem is fixed.   :D

The bad news is I still can't find any admin setting for EZP!  :o  So even though it says it's installed okay, I can't actually activate anything EZP.

I'm fairly sure I could before.

Any ideas?

I take it you un-installed Ezportal before you re-installed it and did this without errors?

Another note, was there an update installed to Ezportal before you re-installed it?

Was there any errors when you re-installed the EzPortal mod?
