Html block wont delete

I created html block and now it wont be deleted. Please help me.

I'm not certain that this will work, but  if you have FTP access to your website root , open the ezportal foler, rename the "ezportal.template.php " to "ezportal.template.php~ ", then unzip the Ezportal package to a folder on your local drive (PC) with the same name and find the original "ezportal.template.php " and load it to your Ezportal folder. ( be certain of the version first)

Note if you have made many changes, I'm not sure how this may change them?

So you may want to wait for EZ to reply on this.

I cant seem to find the ezportal.template.php can you tell me were it is located exactly.
I only found EzPortal2.template.php and also to help yo uI have the newest version of ezportal.

Right before I replied to you post, I downloaded the ezportal zip and unzipped it and found the File right off, it right there in the main folder, if you do not have this on the website then you'll need to load it via FTP to the Ezportal main folder!


 and while your at it compare the folders from the Decompressed Zip file to what you have on the server- Ezportal folder>

In the zip folder I see the file but on the server I don't because I think when u install ezportal to a smf site it puts the files in ezportal all over smf directories.

I think the solution to this problem is stopping the blocks from loading but I cant do that threw Admin, I need to do it threw ftp but which file and what line can stop it from loading the blocks?

Sorry but are you reading anything I'm saying here?

You need to up load the file via FTP, if it's not there or even if it is and over write it.

But keep in mind that it may not work if the DB tables have been messed up, so like I say you may have to wait for EZ to, help you with the changes needed for the ezportal.template.php! He was here a while ago, you should send him a PM.

But anyway for now, if you have FTP access try to download a copy of what is there and compare the ezportal.template.php to see what lines are different or have been changed?

You will need some sort of editor to do this do you have one?

Yes I have an editor but the ezportal.template.php file was not there I put it but it still doesn't work. The only file that was there was ezportal2.template.php
Here is more details of the problem.
When I try to delete now any ezblock it redirects to the paypal site because the html block that screwed things up was that paypal block. I did what you said but nothing worked and yes I have a editor.

If you have phpmyadmin check out the ezp_block_layout table and edit the html directly in there.

Just one more thing To add a paypal Thing to the site threw ezblock How to I add it.
So this doesnt happen again?

Nvm Its ok about paypal I found out my mistake I didnt write <html> </html> and put code between it fixed. Yes I made the changes already I have cpanel access Maxx.
