Alright, i am by far an expert at most stuff like this and thats why i like portals, kinda simplify things... so i apologize if this is a stupid question.


Whenever i goto install a module (say smf gallery) i get an error on next page

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

i even tried setting the index.php to 777  and i still get the same error.

Would someone be so kind to help?
