beginners problem

downloaded, installed on server and then try to go to:

http://www.lamanouk.be/smf/EzPortalInstall.php

and then got message

Error: Cannot install - please verify you put this in the same place as SMF's index.php.

can anyone give me some advise?

This mod should uploaded and installed via SMF's package manager. Admin -> Package Manager and then the entire mod will be installed for you.

Yes, unless you tried installing it via Package Manager, and it won't work, then you should do it manually, otherwise, use the Package Manager, the easiest and best way to install packages!
