Would it be possible in future versions of EzPortal to let the user choose if he wants to use TinyMCE or the regular text areas to type HTML EzBlocks and pages? I personally dislike TinyMCE because it won't let me use iframes and certain other tags, not to mention for HTML EzBlocks it adds <p> tags, causing my blocks to have weird formatting. I was very disapointed when I saw HTML EzBlock editing switched to TinyMCE.
-
I can add it as an option. There should be an html button in tinymce to go to html only form.
-
Yeah that's what I use, but it removes some HTML tags such as <iframe> and adds <p>at the beginning and </p> at the end. It breaks my EzBlocks formatting, cuz now there's a small gap at the top and bottom

Added for ezPortal 0.3.9

I can't find the option anywhere... :/

Btw I just noticed the version was wrong, even thought I use the latest you uploaded
EDIT: WAIT! I discovered the option only show when I use the default theme :/, all other options shows fine on other themes...
Also even on the default theme, if the option is checked, TinyMCE is still enabled...
-
Posts a fixed that should fix both issues.
Looks like my file changes did not get saved for SMF 1.1.x
-
verison number is fixed, but the disable TinyMCE option still wont show up for custom themes :/
The option works, though. Basically, to disable tinymce, switch to default theme, check the box, then switch back to your original theme.
Thanks for other bugfixes and updates, though.

I think the issue that are having is you have a copy of ezportal.template.php in your custom theme's folder which is overriding the default theme.

Cool, thanks for the info. It fixed it now :)

I want to thank you for an excellent product.
Want to add an Amazon Store with the EzPortal Page Manager. I'm using EzPortal 0.4.0 and SMF 1.1.11. As its impossible to disable TinyMCE, its also impossible to add a frame.
Any chance that you would add an option to totally disable TinyMCE.
I came up with a work a round but its not quite as elegant.
