[EZPB] Upcoming Events

Upcoming Events

Shows simple list of upcoming events from the calendar.  Number of days to look ahead is set in:
Admin->Calendar->Max days in advance on board index

XML allowed installation on SMF1 - block is only compatible with SMF2

Updated to fix bug that only showed one event per day (now shows multiple events that start on same date).

This is great in showing the events in the order the were added to the calendar.  What needs adding to make them appear in the correct date order?

My questions is, I downloaded the Upcoming Events ezblock and tried to install it, I guess I am somewhat confused as to whether the download is supposed to be unzipped before installing or not.

Also, what is the proper way to install a downloaded ezblock. Every time I try to install the upcoming events ezblock I get an error "Error uploading ezBlock not found!" I get this error if I try to install from the zip file and/or after unzipping the file.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

They ARE in the correct order already (start date ascending).  Post a link to your site so I can check it out.

The "file not found" error could be caused by the server temp directory not having write permissions or not being set up properly (your web site control panel will probably have PHP info available - look for the TEMP directory in the Environment section).

Are you having problems uploading ANY ezblock or just this one?

Will display a reminder menu for each event if the calendar event reminder mod is installed.

File downloads OK AFAIK - was it the zip that was corrupt or the XML?
